Tomball Apartments are located in northwest Harris County with a population under 10,000 people. Northwest Houston Apartments lie near FM2920 and Highway 249; and offer economical pricing while not sacrificing square footage and high-end amenties. Tomball was initially settled by European and German settlers in the 1800’s who were drawn to the gorgeous pines and trees and beautiful pastures.  The city was founded by the Humble Oil and Refining Company in 1933.  Tomball soon became called Oil Town USA and citizens were provided with free natural gas for 90 years. The city serves today as a small town that does not offer the stress and congestion of Houston, Tx.

Although the city is small compared to other areas.  Tomball does have its own share of great food and attractions that can entertain the entire family.  Mel’s Country Cafe is known for its American cooking.  They also have great daily and nightly specials. Hamburgers and steak platters are some of the more popular dishes. And you don’t have to worry about small portions. They will give you more than you can eat at great prices too.

If you have more of a taste for Mexican, Rancho Grande Mexican Restaurant is a great spot for friends and family. Make sure you try the fajitas. Also Monday and Tuesday they have margarita specials.  If you are wanting to get a meal outside of your Tomball Tx apartments this is definitely worth you time.

And Houston is not too far off. If you want a night on the town or just want to do some shopping its just a short drive to the Galleria.

Pupils attend schools in the Tomball Independent School Districts. The only high school in the area is Tomball High School. However, there are several private schools in the area. Tomball is served by Lone Star College. And as of the 2000 Census, there were over 26,000 people residing in apartments in Tomball.
