Most of the Houston Loft Apartments are located in the downtown area of Houston. Some of the lofts are older hotels that have been converted to give that loft style feel. Normally Lofts in Houston are categorized into either a "soft loft" or "hard loft" style. A soft loft has a bedroom that usually has an open doorway and wall that do not quite reach the ceiling. Hard Lofts are usually one large room that serves as the living quarters and kitchen quarters. It also offers a separate bathroom as well. Many new loft properties are being constructed in the inner loop areas of Houston. Demand statistics have shown that renters have increasingly begun to favor loft style apartments, and developers have begun to increase their inventories of lofts.
Some of the new loft communities are offering additional amenities that the older lofts do not. Renters will discover state of the art fitness centers with free weights and fitness balls. Community lounges featuring WiFi, billiards, and gourment coffees have become more common place. |
